I'll Remember

I awoke from the dream in a daze,
To the beauty of the wedding day.
All stood as the music played,
To watch her entrance to her day.
With something old, something new,
Something borrowed, something blue.

I stand smiling as she draws near,
There's no place I could be but here.
Can you see it in her eyes,
The tears of joy a veil can't hide.
Of all the memories in my mind,
That smile will last me a lifetime.

Well, you know I'll remember,
Baby, I'll remember.

And he asks for the vows,
And are said, the "I Do's"
It's a pledged love 'til life ends,
One I won't attempt again.
Today we start life anew,
Cast out the old,
We'll see this through.

Without her love a man should cry,
Without her there to hold on to tight.
At the alter, when they turn and kiss,
I remember all I'll miss.

Well you know I'll remember,
Baby, I'll remember.
